Another great release from Robert Pollard. Highly recommended. The highlight here is "Cats Love a Parade", one of Bob's best. I really can't think of any other artist who releases such quality music and is this prolific also. If you like this CD or the previous two solo CD's, I would also recommend The Takeovers "Bad Football".

This is in my opinion one of the weakest releases ever by Mr.Pollard.
It is way to slow paced to get me going. The songs are nice but they lack catchy hooks and refrains. "Come Outside" is probably the best track

Cohesive, minimal, clever and often times gentle. no song is overstated or out of place. Infact each song serves as a platform at which launches the next.
Highlights: "Cats Love a Parade" - Pollard's most adventurous since the early days of GBV. "Speak In Many Colors" - A stunning composition, absolutely beautiful. |
