The non-slip handle is easy to grip, and the stainless steel blades are perfect for fruits, vegetables and other ingredients. The blades feature micro-serrated edging for an extremely durable, sharp edge that can cut through the competition.

This salad shears works acceptably when new--it takes some force to squeeze with a bunch of lettuce in the jaws, so it can be tiring during use. However, after a few months, the non-stainless chromed return spring will rust out and deform. The only way that the handles return to the open position is through the spring. Thus the handles stop opening sufficiently and make the use of the shears with one hand difficult or impossible.
