I'll admit, I bought them for a somewhat 'off-label' purpose - cutting up pasta and the like for my children. The double blade does this far more efficiently than my regular kitchen shears, and the scoop/bowl shape head makes it more effective too. But, the deciding factor for me: the package claims these ARE "dishwasher safe."

Saving time cutting up the food isn't much of a helper if I have to spend the time handwashing! So far, these are a winner!

I love chopped salad, but have never quite been able to get it right. This handy little gadget does it almost perfectly (not quite, but close enough).

This is one kitchen gadget that is worth every penny and more. I am eating a lot more salads thanks to this handy chopper. I highly recommend it! Very good quality, and it washes up easily. Everyone I make salads for now has been quite impressed and has gobbled up the end results happily.

I bought this product to make chopped salad, but I also found that it works really well chopping up my lttle grandson's food into smaller pieces. It's much easier than a knife and fork. I'm sure that I will find even more uses for this neat little gadget.

I think it's fun to use this chopper! I eat a big salad every day and just love to use the chopper! Be careful not to get carried away -- diced lettuce is hard to get on the fork!

This tool needs to be in every kitchen utensil drawer world wide.
My wife and I use it on a daily basis and no longer purchase pre-chopped bag lettuce.
For all you chubbies out there looking to reduce your calorie intake, this tool chops so fine, you don't need to use salad dressing.

The Toss and Chop is a great item to have in your kitchen. It chops salad quickly and easily. The bottom "scoop" pulls the lettuce up into the chopping blade and all you do is squeeze. Clean up is easy too - just rinse under running water. This is my second Toss and Chop which I highly recommend.

I love this thing. I use it not only for salads, but for other things like chopping up chicken for chicken salad, and basically chopping up anything. Be creative! I sometimes get carried away and pulverize things though. Kinda hard to clean but I just soak it in hot water if it's not going to be washed in the dish washer immediately. It is definitely one of my absolute favorite kitchen gadgets- I use it all the time.

I bought this to make it easier to make a chopped salad. Well I have found it is just easier to rip the lettuce up with my hand. The lettuce gets stuck each time you cut it in between the two blades and it just takes forever to cut up anything. I should have bought one of the other veggie chopper gadgets.
