This may seem like a regular fan filter, but it is much more.
The time was 6:03PM on a saturday morning. It was a warm, sunny day. The room temperature was 76 degrees and the air was crisp. I opened the Amazon package that lay before me. Inside it was the holy grail - a 120mm silverstone tek fan filter.
I was filled with inexplicable joy. I rushed to my computer to install it. Much to my surprise, it was magnetic! It quickly snapped on. I did not even need to use the screw holes. My week was made.

I had finally completed my last task. Few people survived and thus the filter deemed I was worthy of the ultimate reward. I felt an extremely powerful energy envelop me. I feel a transformation begin within me. I feel my consciousness shatter into millions of pieces. I am hit by a wave of unconditional love, euphoria, and emotions that a human mind cannot comprehend. No longer am I human. I am one with the universe.

I've used practically every kind of Silverstone filter on my fans and these are the ones I was wanting all along; Thin with no sort of center support to maximize airflow. The filter material is very, very fine. It's even finer than the other silverstone filters I have, so it's sure to collect a lot of dust.
I've spent way too much on filters now, all of my previous ones included, but now I'm replacing all my filters with these and never looking back because these won't impede airflow nearly as much as the old ones.
The entire black surround on one side is just one big, flexible magnet, so it can easily mount straight to metal without the need for screws, and the filter material is glued firmly and tightly between the magnet and the other flexible half of the surround, which takes away the worry of accidentally peeling the filter material off of the surround, which I have done before on one of my previous filters (oops!).
All in all, these are in all probably about the best dust filters you can buy for the price.

Couldn't be happier. My case has a couple fan mounts on the side, and I wanted to deliver fresh air to my GPUs without clogging them with dust/hair. In comes Silverstone to the rescue with this magnificent piece of hardware.
It needed 3 things to make me happy: 1) Be easy to remove and clean. It's MAGNETIC, so it just pulls off, a quick couple spurts with an airduster, or some time under the faucet if it's really dirty and you can toss this mother back on and it goes back to being awesome.
2) Needed to stop dust This thing has a finer mesh than most pantyhose, let alone the stuff that comes with most computer cases. Every couple days I stop to marvel just how much dust this thing keeps my computer's guts safe from. If this thing was a bouncer at a classy club, that club would go out of business, because (you guessed it) nothing is getting in.
3) Be cheap. Ok, so it could be cheaper, but honestly? $10 is not that bad, and it saves me from the struggle of tearing apart my computer once a month and going through seventeen million airdusters trying to clean it out. In fact, if you do the math, I'm saving myself nearly 10 cleanings a year, each one taking at least an hour, so that's ten hours saved. Let's use the valuation of my time that my crappy fast food job uses ($8.25 per hour) and what do you know, this thing will save me $82.50 a year in time, sounds like a steal at $10 now, doesn't it?
Unless your case is made entirely of plastic and you keep it in an airtight, heavily filtered environment, you NEED this filter, so stop reading, scroll back up, and click "Buy," you won't regret it.

like the fact that it has magnet surface .. quality is very good and catches the dust real good... now I just have to clean filter instead of taking pc parts apart ...

These filters work great with all of my various branded 120mm fans. The grill is very fine and I could see dust buildup within a few hours because these filters catch ALL of the dust. And I have a clean room!

Very nice filter and I've found another lesser known use for you to try if you'd like. I've got one mounted on my power supply intake. I was able to mount it with a little Gorilla tape added, being afraid it might fall and done carefully it looks fine and now I'm keeping the power supply cleaner and it also slightly muffles fan noise without restricting air flow much. Of course I have another on the front air intake too. This is used on my computer I built to be especially quiet. Keep your computer cleaner and vacuum just the filters, it's convenient and saves time. Works great, recommended.

I like this filters because it makes a lot easier to clean your PC fans. They caught all the dust and debris and is really easy to clean, just use water directly and that's it.
