I bought this for my husband with the idea that if he learned how to play we could always upgrade. He has learned how to play so quick but has no intentions of upgrading anytime soon. He loves the guitar, the style, the sound, everything. The extras that come with the package are not the best quality, but the guitar itself makes up for it. I did a plenty of research on beginner guitars and and 100% satisfied with what I got.

I purchased this after reading all the reviews of EVERY acoustic affordable guitar sold on the internet. Do not expect a $1000 guitar and you will not be disappointed. The finish is decent, the frets are smooth, and it stays in tune. The "cheap" tuner was a little stubborn to get working but works great now. I suggest this package for anyone wanting to learn or get back into playing.

I was a little skeptical about the internet purchase of a guitar made in China. Nothing against China per se, just had heard from friends that they mass-produce cheap guitars that aren't just inexpensive, they're cheap vis-a-vis materials, musical design and function, etc.

This one was perfectly fine - exceeded my expectations in terms of price (low) and quality (reasonably good).

If you're a serious professional guitar player, I don't imagine you'll be interested in this product.

If you're a new player, or like me - I'm a pianist who occasionally played guitar and hadn't touched one in years - I think you'll find this guitar works well.
It has a good sound, easy to tune, plays well, and looks good.

Shipping was fine. Delivered on time and the guitar was pre-strung and un-hurt by the travel. I was concerned about the shipping wear and tear, but the guitar was fine.

I purchased the package that includes a digital tuner, a starter pick (already had several), a full change of strings, and a teaching DVD. Didn't use the DVD, so can't speak to it. But the digital tuner was okay, strings were okay. I'd recommend this to any adult or teen learner (full-size guitar, so no young teens unless they're physically able to use a full sized guitar).

My girlfriend was interested in learning to play the guitar, so I purchased this package for her for Christmas. It comes with everything you need to get started, and the DVD that comes with it is EXCELLENT for a beginning learner!
