I love this game for an old school sim game this is the one to get cause it actually does run on Vista :-) it will take time to build a city to peak and it runs great on older and slower machines as well but make sure you have a good sound card with good Midi or the music will sound horrible just a hint if you type iamacheat you will get more funds for your city to use ;) if you can get this game and have not played it will be well worth it cause it also has some nice interviews on it with Will Wright :)

i would like to thank the seller, Andrew, sim city 2000 is my favorite version and my new computer only has cd-rom so i couldn't load my copy of the game. finding it available here was like a god send. Andrew got it here in no time and i'll be building away. So thank you very much from a satisfied customer.

We loved this game 10 years ago when it came pre-loaded on a windows 95 machine! Have been looking for it for a while to try on one of our newer computers. It came in good condition and loaded fine. Be warned though. It only owrks on our XP machine! We tried under Vista and Windows 7, but couldn't make it work on either of those computers.
