Similac adv RTF works great for my daughter! I opted not to breastfeed, so she's been on this formula since birth and is now 3 months. She has not gotten sick yet, and is growing and reaching all of her milestones beautifully. We use the RTF formula because we find it more convenient to prepare. And though it may just be a mental thing, I feel like it's better for her tummy than mixing the powder and water myself. If you do Subscribe and Save and get the 6-packs of this Similac delivered to you monthly it comes out cheaper than getting it at walmart (about 45 cents cheaper per quart!). Also check out diapers on Amazon: with subscribe and save and amazon mom discounts, you get 30% off the big packs of huggies diapers. At walmart, a pack of 92 is $20. Buying in bulk and with the 30% off, I geta box of 160 size 1s delivered to my house for less than $24!

I use this to feed my daughter. Its expensive, but I don't have to worry about mixing or finding water that I want to use. I also looked on some sites ([....]) and it says this doesn't contain BPA (in the packaging). Most other formulas do.

Good For Babies Not Wanting Formula,

We tried feeding our baby Enfamil when he first switched to formula, but he hated the taste and refused it. Our friend told us that Similac was the best formula that compared to the taste of breastmilk. She actually bought various formulas and did a taste test. Our baby loves this formula and is thriving on it. Some people have said the powder is hard to mix, but we have not had any problems. We have found that room temp bottled water mixes the best.

Best deal for Similac,

This is by far the best value for Similac ready made formula. However, I only gave it 4 out of 5 stars because I wish you could order more cases OR order the next set earlier than one month.

Disregard the old reviews about price. At 27.29 per case, this is competitive with Sam's and other sellers. Sam's Club in my town doesn't even sell this formula so this is a no-brainer for me. Comes to my house like clockwork and I don't have to worry about running to local grocery stores, which are more expensive and are always out of this formula anyway. Get it. Just save some for me. :)

Safer and Easier for Baby,

I have been using this product since receiving the 2-oz bottles from the hospital. My baby took to it well and I did not want to switch formula brands any reason. I considered switching to the powder version of this product, but after trying it for one day, we saw the difference; my baby was suddenly very gassy and fussy, which is very unlike him. We decided to switch back to this product and I'm very glad that we did. This liquid formula was NOT affected by the Similac recall, so I felt more safe and relieved when hearing about it.
"No Abbott liquid infant formulas are impacted. Products not involved in the recall include all Abbott Nutrition liquid ready-to-feed and concentrated infant formulas and all powder and liquid specialty formulas". Read more about the recall on the similac website and feel confident about the formula you choose to buy for your baby. Hope this helps!

My son was given the ready to feed formula in the hospital. Once home, despite our efforts to convert him to the more affordable powder option, he refused powder formula ;) Yes, it's more money than the powder and the concentrate, but he loves it and is gaining weight. It's also easy to prepare bottles this way. I don't have to worry about the powder to water ratio.

My son likes this formula, we were given the powder form by our Pediatrician when breast feeding wasn't working out. The powder was fine, but this is much easier since it is premixed and I do not have to shake up a bottle in the middle of the night. I only gave it four stars because of the packaging, it can be a little messy to pour. It has a foil cap, and you invert the cap to cut the foil and pour the product. When I pour it tends to spill so I have a separate container I put the product in. Not a big deal, just a minor inconvenience.
