GREAT SCOPE!!!! , But good luck finding the correct scope mounts to fit your gun and scope, my first pair fit the scope perfect, and by second pair fit the gun perfect. I can't Win.. I ended up modifing the second pair to fit the scope...

This is the 2nd Simmons 8-point scope I've owned and am very happy with it. And the price is reasonable.

I ordered this scope for my husband, for Father's Day, based on the Simmons reputation. He installed it on his rifle and found that the adjustments would not work; he could not site in his rifle. We were very disappointed, but thought we could easily resolve the matter as it has a Limited Lifetime Warrenty. To use the warrenty you must call customer service to obtain a number and send it along with $10.00 check or money order to obtain service. My husband called and was told he didn't need a number just to send it along with a letter plus his $10.00 and be sure to send it so it has atracking number. We did all the above to discover that the receiver had moved. So UPS found them only to have them refuse the package. They "Don't want it!" Therefore I cannot give the scope or the Simmons Company a very good review.

Simmons Scopes are top of the line Optic's.To get one for under $50.00 is remarkable. I sighted this baby in in under 10 rounds on an old Marlin #60 .22 caliber. Don't let this one go if you get the chance to get it for $50.00 or even more..

Very very accurate scope for the money and never miss a target at all. I hunt every year in California for Grey Tree Squirrel about every shot is at a range of 30 to 60 yard & was head shot clean out of my Ruger 10/22 & CCI stinger or velcitor ammo... great price for the scope is a must have scope I drop it on the ground so many time when hunting and never miss a shot...

I was skeptical due to low cost but let me tell you for what i was getting this scope for, it works fantastic. Mounted on Ruger 10/22 with tapco stock. Mini Sniper lol. Great scope holds to zero great. Also let me add that right out of the box this scope was right on windage wise. All i had to do was raise the crosshairs up a bit and dead on In 5 shots... Pleased with this one.

I was very skeptical about this scope (especially because of the price and that I was mounting it on my 30/30 which kicks like a mule). Lets just say after 20 shots of soft points and some patience with the scope adjustments I was shooting 1" groups at 100 yards. I physically cannot shoot better than that so this scope is a diamond in the rough for me.

I do want to mention that after I adjusted the scope to make ready the first shot the picture was very clear. I took the first shot and looked through the scope to find that the image was blurry. I didn't panic. I readjusted the focal lense, got it back to a clear picture and never had that problem again...that was easy break-in to me.

I have been a fan of Simmons for years, and have owned several of their scopes. I purchaced this scope to put on my Weatherby Vanguard .270 Win and am happy with the performance. After boresighting the rifle, I was dialed in with 6 shots at 100 yards. I have since then shot a box of rounds and needed no readjustment. The only thing that I do not like about the scope is that the length of it is almost too short for a long action rifle, and you may want to look at other options if you are purchasing it to put on one. I did get mine to work, but had no additional room on my mounting brackets. Other than that issue, it is a great scope and the recoil of my .270 doesn't phase it.
