I was looking for a nursery set that was made of solid wood, good quality, and would not break the bank. This set is great. It is made of solid wood construction and looks great. I purchased the entire set...this combo hutch, the combo dress, the crib, and the other dresser. All of which I believe were a great price. I trusted purchasing this set online without being able to touch/feel it first because it is made by Simmons Kids, and Simmons has been areound for a long time making mattresses, furniture, etc. Those legs that are at the bottom of each piece of furniture actually screw on at the bottom, so if your floors are a little unlevel (like my wood floors were) you can actually screw those legs to whatever height makes the furniture not unlevel. My husband put this whole set together in about 2 hours all by himself, all he needed help with is lifting the hutch on top of the combo dresser.

We almost pulled the trigger buying this from Amazon but out local store was giving us a 25% off (Burlington Coat Factory). We picked the hutch and combo. The hutch came assembled and I have to point this out, it was on a pallet like the combo hutch. Everything about it was excellent. Un-boxed, cleaned and moved to where it needed to be. The drawers are of high quality, solid wood and they have the nice slide and lock feature. Wife made the right decision and out baby to be is going to be using this for years to come we hope.

I was mislead when ordering this item. I thought the item included the bottom drawers plus the hutch but it is only the hutch. It does appear to be of good quality but the piece of furniture will cost approximately $920 to purchase everything. Way more than what I want to spend for one piece of baby furniture. Apparently, other people make the same mistake because according to Amazon's stats 69 % of customers purchase the hutch while only 9 % purchased the combo dresser (after viewing the item). I wanted to get a review posted so other customers will not make the same mistake.

When we originally purchased our daughter's crib and dresser we couldn't afford to pay $350 for the hutch! Through Amazon's great pricing, I was able to get it at a fraction of the cost! I am so glad we could get it because it adds a sense of elegance to our little girl's bedroom! Love it!

It was super easy to put together...I did it by myself!

Amazon's return process is super easy! The first hutch we received was damaged through shipping and the return process was easy and fast! Very impressed!

I ordered this from amazon because of the price, but when i received it i had a big piece of wood that was broken and so had to get an replacement. When i received it the second time, there as no broken wood, however there was a big dent in the middle of the top rail. It does bother me a bit, but I didn't want to go through the process of returning it again so i just kept it. I wish it had better packaging.

After ordering this piece three times and receiving it damaged, they finally got it right on the third strike. They're lucky too, I didn't want anything else! Fairly easy to assemble. The bottom shelf is removable if you want to use the hutch on top of the dresser as a changing table (we did). We got the entire Valencia bedroom set, beautiful!

Looks great. A little scratched during a move, so be really gentle and protect it. I was able to build it myself (but not lift) while pregnant, so it's not too terribly difficult!
