We were looking for a rugged set of binoculars that could stand up to use by a teenager while on a week-long camping trip in the jungles of Sumatra, Indonesia. These binoculars were perfect. They withstood nearly constant rain, being dropped in the mud, banging around in the jungle and all sorts of other abuse yet continued to work perfectly. The binoculars are small and light weight and perfect to carry when weight is an important consideration. It is an excellent product that performed exactly as expected, perhaps even better than expected.
