When I purchased it I did not notice that so many celebs were wearing the item as well. The bracelet runs a little small. The 8.5 inches fits like a 7.5 inches bracelet. Love the look. Most beads are light in color for my taste but constructed very good. For a worthy cause glad I purchased it over a year ago.
