I chose this airbed because of the quality associated with the Simmons name in regular beds. I was not disappointed. The bed slept comfortably and only had to be inflated after 8 days of usage. The pump that came with the bed was compact and easy to use. My only complaint about this airbed is that it was smaller than a regular queen sized bed and looked like a full sized bed to me. Overall it was a good quality purchase and I was satisfied with this product.

This product was advertized and sold as a "Queen Size" inflatable mattress, The size listed on the box was the dimensions for Queen Size but the mattress, either inflated or flat was Standard size. It was not an accident because we sent one mattress back thinking that there might have been an error in packaging - the second delivery was in an unopend box and was the same - a Standard sized mattress sold as a Queen sized one. I tried to get Amazon to drop the line or complain to the manufacturer but had no success.

I just bought the 17" and the photo on the box made it seem like this mattress is much higher and bigger than it really is. I also bought a queen and at best it's a full...maybe. It sleeps like any other airbed, no difference between this one or any other I've slept on but I bought it for guests and one of my guests is about 6'4" and about 225 and he's supposed to fit in this "queen" with his wife. I liked that it was supposed to be higher off the ground like a real bed so I was disappointed when I saw how low it actually was. I got an OK night's sleep on it and had plenty of room but I'm 5'2" and 125 lbs. Keep that in mind when buying it...

We purchased the 17" model of this air bed at a local super center for use as a spare bed when we had company. Following the instructions we inflated it and put the sheets on (although Queen sheets did not fit properly, the bed is actually somewhere between a full and queen size - first strike). Okay for the first night. As per the instructions, we added additional air the second day (supposedly because the mattress stretches on first use). Went to bed and by morning felt we were sleeping on the floor. This mattress would not hold air. (strike two) Took it back to the super center, where they told us they could not give us our money back, but could only exchange it for another bed. At this price you would think you are getting a quality product - but no, my guess is that it is just cheap crap (strike three). So now we are stuck with a bed in a box that will probably never be opened, unless someone wants to buy it from us. I would not recommend this bed to my worst enemy.

This Simmons raised air bed is excellent. It is more than a mere air mattress since it is 16 inches deep. The supplied air pump worked flawlessly. It is a good sleep solution for small areas when sleep accomodations are needed only occasionally.

I did not purchase this Simmons air mattress from Amazon. I purchased this item from a local store as a semi-short term sleeping solution. It was used by one adult for one month. While it was comfortable, after one month whatever is inside the mattress that keeps the inflation even across the matress began to separate. Now one side is underinflated and the other side looks like someone is hiding under the blanket. I am buying a new air mattress, NOT a Simmons.

Everything was fine for a couple of months. Hardly ever lost and air and was wonderful to sleep on....so comfortable! I finally added a bit of air after using it periodically for about a year. In the middle of the night I heard this exploding sound. I was very confused. I rolled over and the next thing I knew I was on my knees on the floor! One or two of the baffles just off center had ripped apart, pushing up a huge bubble in the mattress. Was I surprised and sad. The matress is now unusable and, of course, out of the 90 day warrenty. Turned out to be not so much of a bargain at any price!!!

I thought it was a very good mattress. Obviously it will be lower to the ground, but it is higher than most air mattresses. I've used this plenty of times, my boyfriend and I used this mattress for weeks when traveling. It held up very well, it's reliable, and hasn't given me any problems.

It does take a while to stretch out at first, though. When you first start using it, the mattress will deflate quite a bit and you'll have to keep inflating it. After that, though, the mattress stretches out and accomodates well. After using it for a few weeks, this happened on the first 2-3 days of use, and then after that it stayed very well and I didn't need to inflate it again. It still retains it shape, too. I've seen people review the product saying that after sleeping on it, it leaves a permanent mark on the mattress where they slept, but I've had this mattress a few years now and that has not been a problem for me.
