Simms: Headwaters Day Pack, CoalExtremely well built pack - robust materials. It is small with limited storage - storing clothing in addition to equipment and food is a tight squeeze so you need to be sure the size suits the needs. The curved metal frame severely restricts storage space and makes stored items less accessible. I actually removed the frame with the combined waist belt and this resolved that problem - I found no advantage to having the frame and waist band on such a small pack.
