Excellent!,

When I first heard "I Don't Mind" from Horror Wrestling some 18 months ago, I knew this band was worth keeping an eye on. Freaks of Nature is even more mature and full than Horror Wrestling (which I liked very much).I like their darkness, and their passion. The guitar work shreds, and the almost dissonant vocal harmonies add a marvelous tension. They seem to be adding some more depth, tonally, to their music. I think this band is going to be influential.

Much more than anticipated!,

At first glance you might dismiss a group of gorgeous women playing hard music as a gimic. That would be a mistake as this band has perfected a great style of mid-tempo, melodic, hard rock. The live presentation of the songs is a great show. The band is very tight with great vocals. The singer has a definite presence with an astounding charisma. OK, I'm biased. She pointed at me and dedicated a song to me, but it was still a great show. Put it this way, they won over a Ministry crowd and that is no small feat! See the show, buy the albums. This is one refreshing situation where the looks of the women is icing on a well baked cake.

I just saw them live last night and they won over every person in the crowd. Awesome performance from all four...bass player performed like a lead guitarist. Vocals were excellent and filled with electricity. If you like STP, Black Sabbath, Manson, or Creed...they'll end up being played on your stereo. They headbang so well you (almost) forget they are four fantastic-looking chicks. Album is awesome. The second track, ALIVE, should have made them. There are at least 4 hit songs on this album...although it wouldn't hurt to hear an upbeat song played with the same intensity...not all love ends badly.
