This crossword collection is one of the best I have tried. I have been doing crosswords for so many years that it is hard to find ones that are challenging and fun. This one does it for me, plus the perforated pages make it much easier to work them. I went on a trip to California from the Midwest, usually a really tiring trip and the puzzle book made the trip go by much faster.

I found this book to be the easier of the series yet, but that isn't saying much. I'm a quarter of the way through and haven't completed one of these puzzles yet. But I'm learning a great deal!

However---I do love this puzzle book series. There are sometimes editing errors, but rarely. I love the perforations and haven't found that on this caliber of puzzle book from anyone else yet.

The puzzles are just about the right degree of difficulty. I am able to do them while watching a baseball game with the sound muted.

Cruciverbalists, get out your wallets. The puzzles in this book will provoke you and invite you and yes, challenge you. The themed ones in particular are excellent and most definitely a cut above the normal daily crossword puzzles you'll find in your newspaper. If you want to give your brain a solid boot to get it moving and churning, you'll like this one.

I love this series of crossword puzzles; this is the fourth I've purchased. These are more challenging than the daily newspapers (including USA Today) and I couldn't do them without several dictionaries, including French, Latin, Spanish, German and Italian. But that's where the fun is---I love words!

I did not like this crossword book at all. I am a crossword entusiast and am always looking for challenging puzzles. This book is filled with no sense games that are impossible to solve. I want a book with only crossword puzzles.

Pros: I like the fact that the puzzles all have a theme albeit sometimes an ambiguous one. They are challenging and interesting and I do one almost every night before sleeping. I also like the larger size of the book, easy to handle and pages may be torn out. Overall I have had a godd puzzling experience with this collection.
Cons: Sometimes the subject matter for the clues leaves my head spinning, especially the clues involving foreign titles or expressions. French and Spanish are good but nix on the Chinese clues or German expressions.
