5.0 out of 5 stars Danger! Crostic addicts alert!
If you have to go to work tomorrow, don't open this book after 10 p.m. You may be awake 'til the a.m. hours! These crostics are challenging and fun for the word puzzle lover who likes to go a step beyond crosswords to solve a quote and author puzzle. There are even a few cryptic acrostics - a triple treat!

2.0 out of 5 stars disappointing for non-Brits
I was so excited to have a whole book of crostics but this seems to be written for people who know lots of specific British history and literature! I've got a post-graduate degree but still had to give up on almost all of the clues - I guess next time I'll pay more attention to where a puzzle book originates.

5.0 out of 5 stars Crostics grid format, November 1, 2010

I really like like the format of the grids in Simon & Schusters Crostics puzzles. They are approximately 10 squares wide and it makes it easy to fill in. The clues are sometimes quirky, and the quotes are quotable (as it were) I may buy other crostics puzzle books, but I always buy a Simon & Schusters as well.

3.0 out of 5 stars How Do I Use On Kindle?, December 7, 2009

I love acrostic puzzles and when I saw this available on my Kindle, I bought it immediately. Now that I have it, though, I don't know what to do with it. How can I "read" this book on my Kindle and solve the puzzles in the book?

The crostics are harder than I thought they would be, but it is a good set of puzzles.
