A friend of mine bought this book for a house-warming gift for her son's new home and when I saw it on the counter, I just knew that I had to buy one for myself. The color photos are wonderful, as well as the pictures of the ingredients. I have tried 3 of the recipes and each one of them was very good and looked just like the photo ! I have several other slow-cooking, cookbooks, but none of them compare to this one.

Love this book. Have tried over 13 recipies. Favorite so far is "Potato & Spinach Soup with Gouda. Made twice and making again to serve with Christmas Ham dinner. Giving as Christmas gift.

I was given this cookbook as a Christmas present last year and have really enjoyed it. My sister knew I was looking for some good basic slow cooker recipes. When my daughter saw it while she was visiting this summer I knew right away that it would make a great gift for her. She is a very good cook and also loves collecting cook books. As a busy mother and working gal she was impressed with the easy wholesome recipes.
