This book would appeal to anyone who is already in the process of wanting more from life -- after having so much and enjoying so little. Her thought provoking approach to self evaluation accompanied by the inspiring quotes, really helped me to evaluate my priorities. I am enjoying every chapter -- some of the experiences she cited are so true -- you will enjoy it if you are already seeking.

It seems to me that anyone who spews such undiluted synicism is herself in need of a little gratitude. And a vacation. OUICK! Before she spoils the child! We all have the right to our opinion, and hers might have been better expressed by simply returning the tape and giving the rest of us the benefit of the doubt. In a world that doesn't take enough time to consider life's simplicities and, for that matter, our modern-day privileges, it seems to me that anyone advocating gratitude, ambition, achievement and self-love is offering us a breath of fresh air. Hey, we don't all have to take it. But at least there are thousands of us willing to take Sarah's lead and sit back, take a deep breath and exhale. And I'm sure I speak for all of us when I say we are grateful for her wisdom.

Worth it's weight in gold!,

As I listened to this tape to and from my job for the last 5 days, I found myself hanging on every word, marveling with every sentence, at the discoveries I was making about myself and my life and yet, at the simplicity of the suggestions Ban Breathnach had to offer to improve my life. I can't think of any woman OR man that wouldn't benefit by listening to or reading this book and taking stock of what they have in their lives and what they THINK they desire. You suddenly find that everything you have is SIMPLY enough and everything else is a marvelous bonus! Oh, but what I would give to be able to express myself the way Sarah Ban Breathnach does. I have already started my Gratitude Journal (I did that the first day!) but before writing this, I purchased the "Simple Abundance Journal of Gratitude" to be able to take advantage of the daily affirmations and inspirational quotes everyday! This book is practical, theoretical spiritual, and ESSENTIAL! And, oh y! es, SIMPLE! To Sarah Ban Brethnach, I am grateful!
