More About the Author

An international best selling author, Sonia Rumzi's debut novel Simple Conversation made the Kindle Best Seller list for Women's Fiction.

A few months later came Caring for Eleanor, the second in a three part series about the fictional character Salma Keir.

In the third and last of the series, Salma appears again in Nightfall Of Her Life, winning past her legacy and experiences.

"Writing is as natural to me as breathing. Except breathing does not take as much effort to refine." -Sonia Rumzi

Authors, book reviewers, bloggers, and fans across the globe agree: "Sonia Rumzi's novels and short stories are well written, bringing instant life to her characters."

The voice inside me,
the rational one,
the observant one,
shows its talent only in what I share
in the written word.

When I talk,
I do not write.

And as such, I practice silence
so that my inner voice
would find its way out.

In silence, my ears do the work
And what I hear fills me with words
to be poured out unspoken
but for the eyes.

Suggestion, opinion, idea,
left inside me
Makes me more likely to
write it down.

A thought carried through the air
with sound,
Falls short.
The written word demands
eyes, thought and reason.

And so, I write,
to give voice to
my thoughts;
Only the ones
i wish to share.

-Sonia Rumzi

I read this book and absolutely loved it. I can really relate with this book and think most people who ever did online dating, been single and looking for love would really enjoy this book. Actually, anyone who likes a book with humor, love, friendship and some drama will really enjoy this book.

It is very enjoyable and the author writes in a way to capture various authors.

The book is a great price and a must read!

It's called a Simple Conversation, and that's how it begins. An online meeting turns into so much more, and what I loved enough about this quirky novel is how it grabs us right away and pulls us as observers (voyeurs perhaps?) into the lives of these two, Salma and Merrick. They meet online but the romnance quickly gets real and you'll be in their lives in a way you will love.

Although Salma is by all accounts middle aged, in so many ways she was still young. Her dating life was sort of minimal but she still had a great (if she says so herself... and she does!) body and a rich love of life that Merrick could not resist.

If you've ever heard of "Beach Reading," this is one of the best examples. It is pure escapism for women such as me. In spire of being married, I related to Salma a lot throughout the novel. I think you will doo. The author, Sonia Rumzi, has a way of speaking to ME while she writes. The story moves and takes you along sort of like Sonia was there narrating it as it happens. I want to commend the author especially on the dialog which is extremely real-to-life and makes the story - which is sort of quirky as I said (but in a very good way as you will see) - so much enjoyable. If you've been looking for a get-me-away book, a novel that takes you away for a while and is enjoyable, extremely entertaining, and also poignant into the relationship between a woman and a man, you will LOVE this book!

I stumbled across this book by accident, and I'm really glad that I did. What a touching book this was. Great characters, a good sense of dialog and feeling, and an uplifting ending. I'd recommend this book to anyone.

It's one of those books where a good half a dozen times, you'll say "Hey, that sounds just like me!" Or someone you know, or someone you've heard of. So much of it is true to life that it's scary. And while it calls itself a Simple Conversation, we all know that relationship conversations are never what they appear to be.

I'm glad I found this, I'd read it again.

I found this book to be easy reading and well written.

It gives us a look into Internet dating for any of us that have not done this

The characters I found humerus and charming.

Ms Rumzi has just the right touch of pulling you into the story and the lives of her characters. What started out to be just a simple conversation between to people leads into romance.

This is for people who want a little drama, humor, and to just get away from the world for awhile.
