My niece gave me Simple Diary for my birthday and I love it. The questions are deceptively simple... it really makes you slow down and think. I have mine on my coffee table and let guests fill out a page when they come over. What fun! It'll make a great memento once it's filled out.

I started out very enthused about these little diaries. But, midway through, I began to find the questions more vexing than insightful. I think it is geared to a much younger generation, who find one word descriptions adequate.

Don't expect some sort of life-changing therapy diary with the Keel's Simple Diary, but if you're looking for some quirky fun or a gift for someone who would appreciate quirky fun, this is a great product.

I love Keel's simple diary. First of all, it's a nice looking book - it comes in a variety of bright colors and has a retro sort of appearance to it. And secondly, it's funny - it's filled with witty questions, surveys, etc. for you to fill out, and has a great style and voice to it.

I have been an avid journal-keeper my entire life, but have never been able to go back and read my old journals. Every time I read old journal entries of mine, I feel embarrassed by them an have to resist the urge to throw away all my journals that hold such intimate, ridiculous thoughts of mine. So, I have boxes of old journals and no desire for myself and especially no one else to ever read them.

But this diary is different. It's thought-provoking, and it's fun to look back on past answers and responses you've written. In fact, I don't even mind other people looking through this diary!

I bought this diary in the lime green color. It's a very bright, optimistic, limey green. They had these at the Anthropologie by my house, so I almost every color in person and I would say they're very accurate to what you see here in the pictures. I think my second favorite color was the brown - it looks very classic.

I also bought the royal blue one for a friend who's a dodgers fanatic (you know, it can double as royal blue OR dodger blue). She had never kept a diary before, and said this was a fun way to get into it. It's definitely a snazzy little diary, and I'd recommend it!

I am a person that keeps journals and I have several types and I like to write but this diary is a great idea for people that might not like to write so much and don't want to be so pressed for time and elaboration. It actually makes you think and it makes you remember and value your days in a new way. It's a gateway really for the time stressed and the journal repulsed. I like that you can pick your favorite color and I like that it still makes it cool to have a diary. I have bought several for friends in their favorite colors and it's always a hit!

I enjoy this "diary", as it is an easy way to record your day quickly - therefore having each day recorded is an easy task.
However, some of the questions are strange and so irrelevant. I also wish that there was a simple lined page next to each day - so if you wanted you were able to write more in regards to your thoughts, feeling, opinions, etc.

But, overall it is a great way to record your day efficiently, if you like to keep a journal, but don't necesarily have time to write a ton, or possiby don't feel like you have or feel like a writing a lot.

Beautiful and makes a great stocking stuffer. Great for someone without the time to write a complete journal entry. They ask you random questions and ignite your brain to think in different ways! I always look forward to writing in it!

This is a great way for anyone who used to journal, doesn't have time for a diary, or isn't sure they have anything worth writing to discover that you do! This Simple Diary gives the writer so much back - so much to think about, wise phrases, great thought starters - that it makes it something to look forward to! It is a fantastic gift for friends, or hostess gifts, and it is priced MUCH better on Amazon than the keel's Simple Diary website! You should go to their website to learn more about the product and the philosophy of the creator but then jump back to Amazon to buy it. You will NOT be disappointed in this purchase, I have recommended it to many people and all have loved it!

You can use this to keep a few notes about the day or maybe use it as a jump start for a long written entry. Either way it's a very fun book!

Simple Diary may be a little treasure but it's not going to make any difference in the world.
