Great simple projects to show kids the basics of E and M., September 16, 1997
By A Customer
This review is from: Safe and Simple Electrical Experiments (Dover Children's Science Books) (Paperback)
With paper clips, magnets, and assorted junk from around the house, you can demonstrate the basics of static electricity and magnetism for your kids (and your own) enlightenment. Well thought out, and peppered with historical notes, this book belongs in every household with children, and at least one older kid (e.g. parent) who likes to play with science. Thanks Mr. Graf.

Get Your Kids Interested In Science!, June 30, 2000
This review is from: Safe and Simple Electrical Experiments (Dover Children's Science Books) (Paperback)
This book contains 101 electrical and magnetic experiments and projects. The materials used can be found around the house or easily purchased at a local store. These experiments teach many of the basics of electricity and magnetics and can be very informative for kids, and even adults, and the illustrations and text explaining the science behind the experiments are well done. I think science is fascinating, and this book can help you spread the 'magic' of science to others.
