5.0 out of 5 stars Super simple and fast March 21, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
This is just a quick little book about getting your self off the ground in terms of thinking about emergencies and little things you can do to make yourself feel a bit safer. If you've never looked into emergency food or anything like that, this is a good starting point. Easy to read, to the point.

5.0 out of 5 stars Short, sweet and to the point June 23, 2012
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Simple Emergency Food Storage by Jennifer Stanek is short, sweet and to the point when it comes telling about how to prepare for an emergency situation. She offers tips on how to make space to safely store foods, how to prepare the foodstuffs for long-term food storage and why it is important to be prepared.

Stanek also offers tips on what to store, and why, and how to build your home food storage supply.

This book maybe short but it is packed with information.

Recommend.

2.0 out of 5 stars a few good ideas in a poorly written piece July 29, 2012
By RJT
Format:Kindle Edition|Amazon Verified Purchase
Some of these ideas are useful (ex.: freeze dried may be found cheaper online than in stores), but most are common sense and almost everything suggested is general information that is available for free in numerous articles on the internet. There is nothing special that calls for this to stand out amidst the deluge of "prepper" articles and books. Spelling, grammar, word usage issues scream out for a good editor and a red pen.
