Fred Blechman is a former U.S. Navy F4U Corsair fighter pilot and has written over 665 magazine articles and six books about electronics, microcomputers, and flying since 1961. He has this to say about this, his most recent, book:In later years my lack of fear of electronics led me into microcomputers. I immediately began to write magazine articles and books using simple word-processing instead of fighting a typewriter. It has some good circuits, not as many as I hoped for.Details the circuit layout and has parts lists and so forth, but lacking a little in detail as to how it works and what each part does. Ok book if you have a knowledge of electronics already, but if you dont, you'll just be putting something together you really dont understand.

Contains many good projects with a detailed description on how to build them. Conscise and to the point schematics of each project were also included in this book...
