Excellent elementary science experiments.,
By A Customer
This review is from: Simple Machines (Starting with Science) (Hardcover)
This book is the best I've seen for doing simple machine experiments at the elementary level. It is perfect for third and fourth grade science classrooms. The directions are simple to follow and the results of the experiments are easy to understand. The function of each simple machine was clear. Students are able to collect the materials from home and the experiments are designed for them to work together. An excellent teacher resource!

Great Introduction to Simple Machines,
This review is from: Simple Machines (Starting with Science) (Paperback)
I used this book to introduce simple machines to my children. We also did a couple of the experiments. Most of the experiments were easy to do, and could be done with things I had around the house. The children learned a lot and had fun too!

Simple Machines,
This review is from: Simple Machines (Starting with Science) (Paperback)
Activies in this book help students learn the different types of simple machines. It was especially helpful for those students who mainly learn through hands on experiences.

Exactly what the title of the book says. . .Simple machines. Using mostly items around the house, make simple machines with your kids. Even my 3 year old is able to help out.
