A Simple Mistake: (Or: Is My Farce Red!?) by Dav Allen is a tongue-in-cheek, humorous novel about a prototype ABM site idiotically placed in a peyote field. The unfortunate Grand Capt. Jerry Hire has erroneously been put in command of the site, and must deal with an Indian tribe, subordinates, hideous diseases and much more to fulfil his woeful mission. A wild, rollicking, and bizarre comedy, A Simple Mistake is enthusiastically recommended reading from beginning to end!
