I use this on everything. Spit up stains from the baby even 10 year old stains on hand me down clothes. It also completely eliminates pet stains and odors. I buy it by the case.

This stuff gets rid of pet odors and many stains (depending on what the surface material is; don't expect it to give you pristine hardwood floors if they didn't look that way before your cat threw up hairballs on them!)

It's not entirely scent free, but its scent is mild enough that it likely won't be a problem for most people with allergies to fragrances. I have such allergies and find many cleaners, air fresheners, etc. overpoweringly scented and cough- and sneeze-inducing, but this one isn't a problem.

An excellent product, and the more so for the price.

Doesn't cover smells but actually rids the smell and stain. Good strong stream too- which I like , good for problem areas.

I have a cat who has decided to mark the world (i.e., my house) as his. All the furniture has been soaked, and I've already put zippers in the couch cushions and replaced the stuffing with pillows to make then easy to wash. I picked this up on impulse at Petsmart, along with a gallon of refill. I was excited because the package said you can use it in the laundry. Unfortunately, it not only doesn't remove cat pee smell, but leaves a nasty smell of it's own when it dries. I haven't noticed much difference in laundry, but this weekend he's been on a tear: walls, cushions, blankets. I've squirted almost the entire bottle on stuff to no avail. That's why I'm here on Amazon looking for something else. Once this dries, the smell comes back. Maybe it works better on barf or something, but not cat pee!

While I can't vouch if this product actually removes odors as it advertises, I can guarantee that it's one of the worst smelling "odor destroyer" products out there. I sprayed one mist and my wife and I were gagging. If you have a strong stomach and don't mind the smell of terrible rotten eggs, than this product is great for you. I, on the other hand, could not stand the smell of this product for even a second! There is no way I could spray this on my carpet let alone let it near my nostrils. Of course this spray is going to cover your pets odors! It could cover the stench of a garbage dump with its powerful chemical aroma.

Very good product. I have not found anything better in 25 years of having animals around the house. It does take the odor out which is all I have been asking for. It works good on stains too. No chemical or highly purfumed smell.

this is a great product. it gets rid of pet stains and odors but doesn't have an unpleasant "chemically" smell.

Cat pee is difficult. My cat has ruined a lot of my stuff. When she peed in my new trumpet case I had felinocidal thoughts. This product took the edge off that smell but three weeks later you can still tell. The good thing is that it doesn't add a gross chemical smell to try to cover and there was no damage to the color of the fabric. Anyone want a cat?

I've been trying everything to help get rid of the dog urine smell from my carpet. This seemed to get rid of the smell from some of the area, but not the whole thing. Plus it takes forever to dry, and now I have a new kind of mildew smell from it being wet for so long. Still shopping for the cureall product...

Here are my top seven reasons why I reocmmend this product (in no particular order):

1) gets any kind of blood out of whites and colors
2) works for stains on clothes, carpets, furniture, and bedsheets
3) gets out the worst smells, but doesn't leave a perfume or chemical smell (I am very sensitive to perfumes & cleaners, so this is a blessing)
4) works not only on cat pee, but cat puke!!
5) I can spray it on the bedsheets for a fresh smell without fading out the colors, works as it dries, and dries quickly
6) gives other cleaning products an extra boost under extreme circumstances, like washing my husband's clothes after his field work
7) helps lift up ground in tile grime, so I don't have to scrub, just wipe

This stuff has made cleaning so much easier for me, and with dogs, a cat, a toddler, and an engineer under one roof, I'm always cleaning something.

I have to emphasize the lack of chemical/perfume smell because that was a big issue with me...even certain deodorants can make it hard for me to breathe, but when you first spray this, it smells really nice, without hanging around in a cloud, the way perfume does.

I also have had success using Simple Solutions Cat Stain & Odor Remover, 20 Ounce.
