I only used one toner, which came with ProActiv and it really didn't do much. This toner, from Simple, helped me out A LOT.

My face is really clearing up thanks to Simple, and this toner is doing it's job without hurting my skin at all. And it does take away anything else that you may have missed when washing your face, and it leaves it fresh and clean. I can even feel my skin breathe in relief.

GET IT! I recommend it!

My husband and son both like this product and use it as their main facial cleanser in the evening. It is gentle enough that it doesn't dry out the skin, but strong enough to really provide a good cleanse. I think their purity standards are a bit misleading, read the ingredient label carefully, it still contains ingredients that are on my "do not use" list, like parabens. So if you are a real purist, skip this product. It is better than most commercial brands, but there are products out there that can do the same thing for your skin with absolutely no parabens or sulfates.

I've always been looking for a non-sticky toner, because I likes to keep my face clear and smooth. I bought this toner together with light moisturizer, they work like a charm! PS: My skin type is combination to oil.

When I was a teenager, toner was THE skin product to buy. Forget youth serums and sun protection- if you wanted clear skin, you got Sea Breeze. I used the drugstore kind for a while and then moved up to the Clinque kind that came with my skin care set, and then abandoned it altogether. I never really thought it added much to my skin care regimen and never used any sort of makeup strong enough that it required a toner to help remove it even after scrubbing at it with cleanser.

Now that I'm older and using sunscreen in increasing levels of strength, sometimes I feel like no matter how much I scrub at it, I'm not getting it out of my pores. But my skin is also sensitive and will dry out in the span of an hour if I use the wrong product on it. I decided to give the Simple toner a go for days when I feel like I want my skin to be just a *tiny* bit cleaner than my cleanser gets it.

So far, so good. It's very refreshing, doesn't sting, doesn't dry out my skin, and has not made me breakout. I'm not entirely sure it's actually DOING anything to my skin, bad or good, but it makes me feel like I'm getting the sunblock and sweat and chlorine (I garden and swim every day) out of my pores, so that's enough for me.

I was excited to receive this product as I have sensitive skin and acne and thought this would help. However, my excitement waned when I saw witch hazel as the third ingredient. Witch hazel is a known irritant, and sure enough, this product aggrevated my rosacea. Not worth it.

I always read the 1 star reviews first. The lone one star reviewer said that witch hazel is a known irritant. Looked it up and it is. But for most of us, me included, it present no problems and can facilitate skin health. Nothing else raised any red flags but neither did it seem particularly promising.

That being said, it did feel nice when I used it and my skin felt less tight as it dried in preparation for Retin A. My face was apparently clean enough before using as it did not leave any residue on the cotton pad. It had a fairly bland odor, I assume the scent of the witch hazel. The price was at the low end of normal when I reviewed the price of other toners.

I'll revisit my review in a month to see if I notice any change in my skin.

I purchased this toner a while ago to (hopefully) help combat my semi-oily skin. I was pleased that this product was natural, as I feel like I have sensitive skin that breaks out very easily. I began using this product by putting some of the toner on a cotton ball and wiping it all over my face. I was pleased it did not leave my skin feeling like it had been burned but instead left it feeling fresh and clean. However, after using it for a while, I did not notice a difference in the oiliness of my skin which was a disappointment. Additionally, I did not feel that it made my cheeks appear any less red which was also a disappointment. Therefore, I discontinued my use of this product and have since found a toner (a toner made by the company Acure) that I feel fits my skin care needs much better.
Pros:
1. Natural
2. Price- fairly cheap for a natural skin care product
Cons:
1. Did not improve my skin

I have used nearly the entire bottle of this product. I was hopefully that it would help my skin improve due to the raving reviews, but it falls flat for me. The toner feels wonderful going on after a shower, and it also has a slightly pleasant 'clean' scent. I've splashed it on my face and used it with a cotton ball. After an hour, my face is back to its usual oiliness. My breakout occurrence didn't improve but didn't worsen when I tried this. I was left wondering what it was really suppose to do for my skin since I didn't see or feel improvements other than initially using it. Disappointed, but it does still feel good to use. I guess my search continues for facial products that actually work for oily skin.
