this book did not offer a lot of really good spells.most of these spells were all for the same thing.and most of them were also for two people who are already together.i was looking for a book that offered many different types of love spells for different purposes, so i was kind of disappointed with this book.

If you are meant to be with the one you love this book will help you accomplish it. If you follow the authors directions to the letter you can not fail. Her instructions are simple just like the title. I found this book very helpful and full of valuable information that any begginer or expert could use.

I enjoyed this book for the realistic attitude taken by the author. Love spells are sometimes a desprate attempt to hold onto a dying relationship. This book offers some soild advise on taking a good look at yourself, your partner, and the relationship before you preform your spell.

Ingredients needed are fairly accessible and the spells are not complicated. Most items can be found at local stores. The clearing spells are excellent. I found them to be useful in ridding myself of the not only the specified roadblocks, but the day to day "dust" as well. The reactions from these clearing have ranged from mild to intense. Be sure to read carefully and follw instructions.

Do the other spells in this book work? Too soon to tell.

This book has helped me in so many ways. I began by casting a personal galmour spell on myself and a few days later I was voted in to be 1 of 4 girls in my grade to be on a dance court! I never imagined it. Not only that, but I feel 10 times better about myself. I also cast a love spell on one of my ex boyfriends that I love. We hadn't talk in almost a month and he called me out of nowhere and before I knew it, he was my date to the dance and began talking with me again! This book has done miracles for me and I know if you take it to heart, be serious, and know what you want, this book will definitely change your life.

the spells work! i am a skeptic no longer. it cleared the path for me and my lover, to a deeper physical spirituality through the old way. this book helps the reader tap into that deep core of sensual joy we all have. so deep six the church's idea of what is proper and enjoy the goddess's way!!

Although this book does not cover the entire Wiccan rituals, traditions, etc. it does give a beginner a wonderfully accurate, positive and responsible view. This book has inspired me to read others by the author and I have found that I still use her books as a form of reference. It is a good quality example of how books of the like should be written. I would put this author in the same catagory as Marion Weinstein and Starhawk, who I feel represent our tradition/religion in a positive light.

This book is a wonderfully comprehensive guide to creating spells and manifesting the desires of your heart. There is a spell for most love situations and they are presented in a concise manner. The spells are easy to follow and the materials are easy to find. Most importantly, Ms. Dolnick doesn't just give us the recipes, she also provides insight and wisdom. The book isn't just about casting magic spells, it's about realizing one's true personal power and magnetism. I recommend it highly.

I love the way the author gave examples of people who tried the spells and their stories. In a way this gives me an idea what spells to use in what situations. It is also a very inspiring book and offers a lot of great advises regarding relationships, even if you are not into spells/magicks. I have tried the spells and am waiting for them to work so I will write more comments later on.

This was recommended to me by a friend who swears it helped her find and "get" the significant other that she was hoping for. I used it to work out a nearly impossible situation which seems to be working out, after some glitches, amazingly. The spells are easy to do without having to wander far beyond your home and everything is obtainable. Very intriguing copy and instructions and suggestions in very few words. I'm finally breaking down and buying my own copy and returning my friend's. A lot of the spell may seem the same, but they are specific and precise making you consider what you are looking for in specific ways.

Who knows if the mumbo/jumbo spell stuff works, but it gives a girl (or guy- yeah right) something TO DO while digesting Dolnick's vexingly commonsensical advice on relationships.
