I am recommending this book to everyone. And I mean EVERYONE. I have been studying nutrition for many years and have read several health and diet books. With this book, I was able to lower my blood sugar level and my weight. I also am using agave nectar and coconut sugar as alternative sweeteners. Now I can even fit into my old jeans!

I usually make sure that me and my family eats right and healthy. However, one thing that I cannot control is our sugar intake. My children and my wife have a sweet tooth so I have difficulty in controlling what they eat? I have no idea on what should I do. I asked my friends and relatives on their techniques on cutting back from the sugar. Unfortunately, almost all of them have the same problems like me. So, what would I do? I know that I should find the answer myself.
I decided to find some books for not all the information from the web is reliable. I browsed for books tackling on how to decrease sugar intake and this book just caught my eye. There's something telling me that I should take a look at this one. So I did. Miraculously, it answered all my questions. It is reader friendly and it contains a gift which I am planning to use right away.
What I love about the book is that I learned a lot of things! I learned that the usual table sugar me and my family used can be exchanged with sugar alternatives. These sugar alternatives are all healthy and most are easily accessible! At first, I am having doubts about this information since I've read some articles saying that natural sugars and sugar alternatives are "all but sugar" and there are no differences!
The book enlightened me saying that sugar is also needed by the body. I searched about this and I found out the truth, you do not need to totally eliminate sugar in your diet. It is needed to supply energy to our bodies.
The book is reader friendly! It is absolutely perfect for healthy living like me.

If you are anywhere other than starting out on your journey to healthy eating, a lot of this information is going to be redundancy to you. However, you can tell that the author really cares about helping her readers develop healthier life-styles and has tried to provide you with the tools and ideas to get you started on that path. ;-)

Although the book was interesting there wasn't enough depth to any of the explanations. The author listed all the various health risks associated with high levels of sugar in the diet but I do not think she went into enough detail regarding how the amount of sugar affects the body especially in regard to type 2 diabetes risk. She did not explain the action of insulin to control blood sugar levels adequately.

I also found the poor grammar and spelling mistakes/typos quite distracting.
