" Simple Survival.. A Family Outdoors Guide " by: Gary L. Benton is a must have for anyone who spends time out of doors. If you are lost in the woods, your chances of surviving are greatly increased. It has been reduced in size for a camper or hikers back pack, a photographer's case and for use when going out camping or RV'ing. The material in this book is highly educational.It is easy to read and it shows first hand how to make a fire, build temporary shelter and find water and food sources. It also has a section on taking your child/ children for their first outdoors experiance PLUS psychological issues for a person heading up a group of lost persons. I HIGHLY recommend this book as I am a avid outdoors woman, wild life photographer and free-lance writer.
