This is simply the best book I have ever read on the subject of investing. No alpha/beta discussions. No standard deviation smoke and mirrors. No need to be an investing sophisticate to understand Murray's message. Simple, clear, and very, very readable. All investors should read the first 27 pages straight through and then go from there. The entire book can be read in a few short hours. I have given this book to clients and been told that they feel it is the best book they have read on investing and that they are giving this book to their children to read. I highly recommend Simple Wealth Inevitable Wealth. Retail investors will NOT be disappointed in this book.

Boils an otherwise complicated subject down to practical concepts understandable to all. This book should be read by all financial advisors and do-it-yourselfers. Pay particular attention to the quotation by Satchel Paige! Although not known for financial acumen, he hits the nail squarely on the head.

Before purchasing this book, I knew absolutely nothing about investing. This is very basic information to takes an in depth look at investing from a different perspective from everything you've ever heard before. I read the book twice and learned even more the second time through. Financial advisers are easy to find, it's the good ones that are very difficult to come by. I started investing in stocks shortly after I read this book. Little by little each month is all it takes. If you think you'll get rich by stashing your money in your savings account, enjoy your .3% monthly interest. This book compares real knowledge and I would recommend EVERYONE read it. Thanks, Nick. I really enjoyed this book. It is well written and the points Nick Murray makes, while contradictory to what you usually hear, are worth hearing over and over. It's written so that even someone with limited financial knowledge can easily understand it. I'm ordering several copies to give to my clients. I hope they get passed down for generations.

I haven't gotten through it yet (and not sure when I will), but I have read the first handful of chapters dealing with the logic of investing in stocks and why a little risk and lot of patience is required for great rewards. Definitely a great financial guide given the price tag, and the advice is timeless. I imagine giving this to my kids to read when they are old enough to worry about their money.

Nick Murray does a fantastic job identifying how to come up with a plan for your future. Although it is geared toward higher net worth people there are great lessons for middle America as well.
