Simple Wishes Hands-Free Breastpump Bra, Pink, L/XL/XXL

I just discovered this hands free pumping device after the birth of my second child. I tried easy expressions, the pumping bra by la leche league, and made by moms pumping band with my first child. Don't waste your time trying them even if you can find them at discounted prices. These products all offer assistance, but are not hands free. It truly is a hands free product.

Here's what I love about it.
1. It will fit any woman's body perfectly and is adjustable, so as your body changes postpartum you will not need to buy another size. The front zipper panel allows you to adjust the placement of the breast shields and the panel in the back allows you to adjust the overall size. Amazing!
2. The fabric is soft and comes in a nice light pink color.
3. Believe it or not the bra actually supports bottles completely full of milk.
4. I don't use the straps, but it's a nice add for the woman who wants a little more support.
5. The packaging is so cute.

Above, I mentioned that I tried three other products with my first child.

Here's what I did not like about each of them.
Easy Expressions
1. If you are not lined up perfectly with the holes the bustier will not work for you.
2. There is no support at the top to prevent the breast shields from slipping down while pumping. OUCH!
3. I had to buy a medium and large size. Depending on my milk supply, I would alternate between the two sizes.
4. The packaging is horrible.

La Leche Leage
1. Nice idea, but offers absolutely no support of the bottles.

Made By Moms
1. Is somewhat supportive of the bottles but so stiff and uncomfortable.

I bought 2 of these from Amazon and it was so much better than what I was using before. This is a really well designed and thought product. That is why I was surprised when I found this piece of Velcro was sown inside with the cloth and hence rubbed against my back causing pain (you know what can happen when velcro rubs against skin). I figured out a way to use it without it hurting me but I still wanted to call the company and give them my feedback because I thought this was otherwise such a neat product. Anyways, I called the company and left a message in their voice mail. I got a call back the same day. Apparently, there were some made with this Velcro problem which they had removed from their stock but somehow Amazon had not removed theirs. Without my asking they said that they would send me 2 without the Velcro problem for free. And I got them the next day by FedEx. So, great product and customer service. The only caution is that Amazon may still be carrying the wrong ones. Hopefully, they would be removed from stock soon.

I consider this item in my CANNOT LIVE WITHOUT category. I don't understand why this bra is not sold in every baby store, right next to the pump. I can't believe how many weeks I spent pumping, bored out of my mind because I couldn't move my mouse or type on my keyboard, hold a phone to my ear, frustrated because I couldn't even scratch my face...this thing is a complete lifesaver. In fact, as I write this review, I am pumping! And now I never pump without it! And of all the pumping bras out there, this one is THEE BEST. I've seen two other brands, and they don't seem as comfortable or "made for everybody". Whatever size/shape you are, this bra will fit! You can adjust the circumference of the bra not only with the zipper inset in the front, but also with the velcro strips at the back (which are so sturdy and never pull off on their own). So because the back of it is all velcro, you can adjust the bra by I'd say 5-7 inches narrower or wider depending on your preference. I've fluctuated a lot since buying this bra, and I can adjust it as I need to. I started at about a 36C postpartum, and now I'm about my old size which is a 32 or 34B. I got the S/M size and it fits perfect. I'm normally in clothes, a size 2 (at my smallest) - 8 (at my largest), and this bra has changed with me and has always been comfortable. The material is a microfiber, so it's really soft and not itchy at all.
These make the best baby shower gifts and the packaging that it comes in is very pretty and feminine. I'm ordering another one for myself to keep at work when I pump.
LOVE IT

I bought this bustier so I could work while pumping. I like how the back panel and front zippers are fully adjustable, and the flaps for the breast shields do a good job of supporting the bottles. But I'm not able to express as much milk using this bra as I do by simply hooking the breast shields to my nursing bra using rubber bands (see [...] for a demonstration of this setup). The bustier is too constrictive - my boobs don't move around naturally the way they do when I nurse, and it's difficult to massage them effectively through the fabric when I need to unplug a duct. And the suction isn't nearly as strong using the bustier. All this affects how many letdowns I have and, consequently, how much milk I'm able to express.

If you've been able to pump effectively using a bustier, I would recommend this product because of the flexibility it offers users relative to other hands-free bras. But if you find, like me, that your output decreases drastically using a pumping bra, I would recommend either the Pumpin' Pal strap (cheap) or a couple of rubber bands (free). They may not be as pretty, but they'll get the job done.

Sizing
It's a little weird. I was a 38D before pregnancy and according to the box I should have gotten the S/M combo, but this fits me fine. I have it adjusted down fairly far, but there is still more room to tighten further if I need to.

Inconspicuous?
No. The outline of those flange-holding things on the front is very visible through any light to moderate weight shirt. Therefore I take it to work with me and put it on as I begin every pumping session, then take it off when I'm done.

Comfort
Nice. It's soft cotton and doesn't have any annoying tags or rough bits.

Adjustability
Very nice. Back panel is easy to adjust. Front zippers move smoothly and easily.

Color
Why must everything be pink? Why?

This is my first pump bra, and it works really well. I can be totally hands free. I even can cook (tote the pump around a central island), feed my baby with a bottle on my lap, and use the computer. The only thing I would change is the center front panel - I wish it came in two sizes - another one only an inch wide. Currently you can wear it or take it out. I need it somewhere in the middle. Still, this works great, and I highly recommend this pump bra. - From a mom who has to pump full time because baby can't nurse.

You've got a great product there! I absolutely LOVE the hands free
bra. At first it was a bit intimidating, it looked thick and bulky,
and lots of zippers. Then I figured it out. he sturdy fabric made me
feel secure. I like the way the flanges stay in the proper position
whether you are sitting up straight or doing back flips while pumping.
(trust me I'm not that talented, but I'm sure there are moms who are)
It felt better on than some of my regular nursing bras, the support
was nice, and I'm pretty heavy chested, and I thought that I could
possibly even wear it alone as a strapless. I think the velcro in the
back is nice because it enabled me to adjust the tightness. It's not a
specific size, it can be changed from "post-deliver" body to "look at
me" body with one bra. I must say it's been wonderful using it. I even
put it on and pumped in the car on the way home from shopping the
other day!

I'd also like to thank you for having a color/color option. I think
nursing white isn't always the best color choice in bras/accessories.
The light pink is just the right color and isn't dingy after a few
uses.

I'm looking forward to letting other moms know that there is a
wonderful bra to pump hands free with that offers them support!"

I've been using this product for about two weeks now. I have to say that overall I'm very pleased with it. For the moms who pump exlcusively, you all know it's hard to find the time to do everything that needs to be done and a lot of times, the first thing to get axed off the list is pumping. But now finally, I can pump consistently throughout the day, and not have to stop because the baby needs to be fed or I need to eat!I have a backpack Medela InStyle pump, so if I need to move around, I hook up the battery pack to the pump and put the backpack on and away I go. It's kind of awkward at first, but you get used to it.

PROS:
-The adjustable panels and zipper panel are great. I get a good seal on the breast shields and have had no leakage.
-I ordered the L/XL/XXL, am a 40DDD in my regular bra and it's so adjustable I could be much smaller or much larger and still be able to use this.
-Soft, comfy fabric that's also very sturdy and will last a long time
-Easy to use with the shields, easy to put in and take out


CONS:
-Because it's a completely flat fabric, no cup at all, it can take a little adjusting to get it comfortable. If you are one of the fortunate ones whose girls are still where they were when you were 18, then it will be more comfy. :) If not, since there is no cup or support, it can take a little getting used to.
-To get the good seal, it has to be a snug fit. The compression hinders my milk flow just a tiny bit. Towards the end of the pumping session, I always take the bra off and massage to make sure and get everything out.


I couldn't find many reviews of large-breasted women who have used this, so I had to take a chance, and I'm very happy with it. Another bonus, my milk has increased since I started using this!

I was really sceptical of buying a bra online, especially one that promised me so much freedom while pumping.But since I am pumping almost exclusively at this point and each session can go as long as 30 mins, I decided to take the chance and buy this.And believe me - IT WORKS BETTER THAN WHAT YOU COULD POSSIBLY IMAGINE!! The bra comes in a cute pink color, the material is soft and comfy and the flanges actually fit in well and more importantly stay in place.It actually feels more secure and comfortable than holding the flanges in place since,once you fit them in the bra, they don't really move or come off, which happened a lot when I was holding them with my hands.I also tended to unknowingly shove them hard against my breasts or break the seal due to some little movement and this does not happen any more with the bra.I can get some reading or surfing done(in fact, I am writing this review while pumping!)and even a spot of cuddling with the baby which is amazing!
So anyone who has to pump a lot and gets bored of staring at the pump and holding the flanges - this bra WILL be your new best friend!
