The shoes were pretty much exactly as explained. They are cute, comfortable and easy to wear. I am a size 7.5, and they fit perfectly. They do give a wide-look to the foot, however, but are still cute. The strap is secure and holds the foot in the shoe without lack of comfort. The rubber/sole is very thin; I don't suggest waiting tables in this shoe. The insoles are very comfortable. I recommend this shoe.

These shoes are so cute and I get compliments out the wazoo when I wear them. The only thing that I suggest is that you buy a size up because they run small. All of the reviews on zappos.com suggest the same thing. But other than that, you'll love these shoes.

I love the look of the shoe, but after paying $89, I would expect them to last longer. The hemp material on the sides is like a weave that if one strand wears out the rest continues to unravel and fall off. I was also surprised to see the "made in China" tag on the inside, since these were touted as so eco friendly--I know China is on the same planet, but saving the planet by making these out of recycled materials kind of seems secondary to the fact that there was lots of fuel used to ship these shoes all the way from China---lets make some shoes out of materials already here in OUR landfills.

I never spend this kind of money on shoes or any clothing for that matter but when I saw these shoes on amazon.com's homepage i had to have them. I got the brick-red colored ones that the picture shows.(one of the last pairs!)
I LOVE these shoes so much. They're comfy and they are ridiculously adorable and I get so many compliments. I don't know what the other reviewers were talking about them running small. I wear a size 6 or 6.5... usually a 6.5 if they're mary janes cause my feet are a little wide. but i got a size 6 in these (last size they had left!) and they fit perfectly, not uncomfortable at all.

EDIT: I still love these shoes. After 2 years I still wear them consistently and they have held up completely. I rotate my brick red ones with my dark brown ones and I still get endless compliments, endless comfort and style.

They hold up great and are fantastic shoes.

these shoes are soooooo cute! they look awesome with jeans or skirts and always get comments when I wear them. They are very comfy too! I recommend these shoes.

These shoes are amazing! They are extremely comfortable with or without socks. I usually wear an 8.5 and occasionally a 9. I ordered the 9 and they fit perfectly. I haven't taken these shoes off since I ordered them. I plan on ordering another pair I love them so much!

I have 3 pairs of these shoes and find them to be very comfortable. They are sturdy and stand up to every day wear.

I bought these shoes two years ago and wore them almost everyday when the weather permitted. They are my most fav shoes ever and i hate shoes. the only bad thing i have to say is that the hemp on the side did fray and start two come apart, but really after wearing them about 200 days and getting wet, etc. what do you expect

Wow! I ordered these shoes on Dec 15th and they arrived a week before expected on the 18th - and free shipping! Looks like I lucked out because the size 5 shoes were only $33.95 compared to "normal" sizes which are $84. I'd been wanting these shoes but couldn't justify spending so much money on them and then lo and behold Amazon had them for a steal! Tried them on and they're super comfy - love the bed that your foot rests on! And they're really cute and sustainable too! Definitely recommend them, esp. if you can get them on sale!

These shoes are great, but be careful about which size you buy...I am usually a 7.5 or 8 so I originally purchased the size 8. They arrived and were way to big so I returned them and bought the size 7 which are perfect! I would recommend buying a half or whole size down.
