The book continues to explain the emotion, physical, and spritual challenges we will face so readers can prepare for each. The final half of the book is organized around simple solutions for preparing and protecting ourselves in this event. This section covers food, water, personal safety, community building, finances, waste, and medical preparation. Hundreds of resources are listed in the reference and resource section.

The Visons Project was created to educate and empower small groups in the United States in developing ongoing long-term projects with 3rd world orphanages. In 1998, we began focusing on Y2K education as we believed all of efforts both past and future would be jeoparadized by this event.
