Yes, there are cheaper SD cards. But read their fine print: they (the cheaper ones) are slow - and often unreliable. Don't cripple your investment in a digital camera by going cheap on the SD memory card.Get this one. It rocks.

Worth two? Yes, because this is my second purchase of a Simpletech SD card. This brand is not one of the least expensive, and it's for good reason. It's very dependable. I've never lost photo data; nor have I had any of them become corrupted. True, there are 1 gigabyte SD cards out right now, but having two 512 MB cards instead is not too bulky, anyway. Simpletech is a known quantity. Other brands aren't, and all I hear is how people have gotten defective cards from the other brands. Not Simpletech. This is my brand of choice. Can't wait for their 1 GB!

Have had this for over 2 months for a Europe trip and worked fantastic. No problems, good selection for the money as well.
