How many pictures will it store? It is the most commonly asked question from digital camera enthusiast but usually the question that is the most difficult to get a straight answer about. Well, considering I worked in the memory industry for over 7 years I can help clarify this perplexing question and do so unbiased as I have since changed industries.

The SimpleTech STI-SD/64 64MB SecureDigital Card, like most 64MB cards, will store on average 71 pictures when used with a 2 megapixel camera, 53 images when used with a 3 megapixel camera, 32 pictures when used with a 4 megapixel camera, 25 images when used with a 5 megapixel camera, and 20 pictures when used with a 6 megapixel camera. These numbers are based off the assumption that you are going to shoot your images at the highest quality JPEG setting available for the camera and understand that they are estimates and may be off by as much as 10 percent due to numerous factors including the complexity of the scene being shot and the compression algorithm used by your specific camera.

The Simpletech 64MB SD Card performs as well as the Simpletech website said it would. I ran into no problems at all. I will keep using their memory products because of the companies dependability.

Received my Palm, but needed more storage space... I have a very extensive list of addresses, phone numbers, and other contact info. So I upgraded the memory with the Simpletech SD card, and after making all my entries, I still have room for more!

Don't know what else to say, but this SimpleTech Secure Digital card works great with my PDA! And I guess that all that counts because if it didn't work well I would have alot to say. Great product SimpleTech!

I've had no problems with this card after having written to nearly 100% of the memory with map files for my GPS

It has given be zero problems....

Works well with my MeriPlat GPS....

Just bought one of these cards to store more images on my color Palm M505. Stores hundreds of images taken with my digital camera and then transfered to this card to store on my Palm. Really cool how small these new SD cards are. Plus it has a write protection swith like floppies so I don't accidentally write over the data on the card. Cool upgrade....
