When my friend's kids were asked with little notice to be shepherd's in a church Christmas Pageant, this pattern (and tons of inspiration) helped us create two one-of-a-kind shepherds costumes that everyone raved about. In truth, another kid had a RENTED costume that wasn't anywhere near as good as what we whipped up on short notice.
This is a very simple sewing project that anyone with any sewing experience could handle. How you enhance it with touches and changes of your own, of course, is up to you!
We had a blast working with this easy Simplicity Crafts Christmas Pageant Sewing Pattern, and if you need anything for a pageant or for Halloween, I definitely recommend this one.
