I've only made the Cinderella dress but it was great fun and I ended up with terrific results. I was a little disappointed in the headband & necklace however. The real Cinderella wears a fixed headband and on either side it's finished off with a heart shaped irredescent earring. The measurement for the necklace ribbon is too big. I didn't have my granddaughter's doll handy to measure her neck for sure so I took the directions at face value. The dress fits perfectly but the headband & necklace do not.
One other suggetion involves the petticoat. I made mine out of tulle. Knowing how much easier it would be to fit and how better it would look I lined the skirt with the tulle and ended up attaching the skirt of the petticoat to the lining inside about 4 inches up. I didn't bother to make certain the petticoat was hidden but allowed it to show a little. I attached special ribbon to the petticoat's skirt bottom so when it shows it tends to look like the real Cinderella's dress would. The tulle petticoat creates just the right effect and isn't in the way of the waste line fit.
I also used the gaunlet pattern piece to make elbow length gloves because true devotees of Cinderella know she wore long gloves. I used a knitted material and a very simple one fingered mitten design. Now, if only the makers of this costume could show you how to make glass slippers!
