SIMPLICITY SW240 QUILTERS CLASSIC,
This review is from: Simplicity SW240 Quilters Classic Sewing Machine with Free Bonus Walking/Motion Feet (Kitchen)
I borrowed this machine from my mother right out of the box, brand new, and haven't given it back after a year. It is very user friendly, the adjustable speed it great for beginners. I like this one so much, I'm keeping it and ordering my mother a new one!! Highly recommend this one!!

Another American Product Demise,

This review is from: Simplicity SW240 Quilters Classic Sewing Machine with Free Bonus Walking/Motion Feet (Kitchen)
I was disappointed with the SW240 and it sewed like it was "factory refurbished" instead of new. While trying it out, it sounded like the parts were loose and clanged to the rotation of the needle. I wanted to keep the machine and then found out that there are not any authorized dealers in my area to check it out and see what the problem could have been.
The 2 stars are for the look and what seemingly is being offered. I have used Simplicity machines for years and I'm sorry to see another American product lose its quality:-(

Versatility + Price,

I've had my Quilter's Classic for just over six months and have pieced several quilts, quilted two. I'm a vintage machine collector who wanted some of the modern features plus ease of use and found both in my Simplicity. The extension table is wonderful, and the machine feeds beautifully for machine quilting. The harp is large enough to allow effective machine quilting, and I like the variety of stitches available as well as the speed control; these combine to give the machine a versatility not often found in the under $500 category.
