As both a school principal and a hobbiest/breeder, I found Ed Standsbury's The Simplified Aquarium to be both interesting and extremely helpful. Teachers have known for years the calming effect an aquarium can have in the classroom. This book shows how an aquarium can also be a center for hands-on, experiential learning. I heartily recommend this book as a very helpful guide to anyone who wants to enjoy the aquarium hobby whether at home or in a classroom!
