Pros: thin, doesn't stick too bad when creams are on nipple, no tape strips
Cons: not smooth under clothes, not individually wrapped, not very absorbent at all I like Simplisse Nipple Cream so I thought I'd try the pads. I'm going back to Lansinoh or trying another brand. They are just OK. I do like the thinness of them, but that's about the best thing to say about them. They look horrible under clothing. They do not mold to the shape of my breast at all and although I don't leak much, they feel very wet with even the slightest moisture, probably because they are so thin and not much absorbent material is in them. The texture to them helps that a little. They aren't terrible, I just don't see myself buying these again and can't recommend them.

The best pad's I've tried thus far...,
This review is from: Simplisse Disposable Breast Pads, 60 Count (Baby Product)
When I first decided to breastfeed, I put the Avent breast pads on my registry because frankly I figured the thicker the better. I got a 100 count box. WOO HOO I was stoked to have so many to last me so long. Well let me say that they were great if I didn't have to leave the house, or lay on my side. It seriously looked like I have the hugest areolas ever under clothes. You could see the entire pad. And they were like ¼" thick. Which is great for absorbency, not great for discreteness. I ended up blowing through those 100 in 5 weeks. The next pads I bought were the NUK ones. These to me were significantly better, they were way less noticeable under my clothes when I returned to work and were bigger in diameter which was nice. But they got little wrinkles that you could also see through my clothes as they curved around my boobies. Not pretty. As my son started sleeping longer at night I had to get up and change them even if he was sleeping because I would leak right through them.. that sucked. Big time. Here I was back at work, having to get up at 4:45am and my son was sleeping till 4:30 (yay) but I still had to get up to change my breast pad at 2:30 because I was engorged, and leaking and my shirt was getting wet, and I won't even mention how they moved around in my sleeping bra because they stuck to the bra. Talk about annoying, I just started using pre-folds at night, or washcloths.
Here is where I get to the review. A few days ago I ran out of the NUK pads so I went to my local Buy Buy Baby to buy more. At this point I didn't know there was something better out there. To my dismay they didn't sell them. I talked to the sales person and she pointed out the Simplisse reusable pads.. I know I should have tried them but I'm not into washing them and reusing them I prefer to be able to toss them away. Go ahead and condemn me tree huggers, I do my part to help the environment in other ways. I'm not going to use reusable maxi Pads either (gross!). So anyway I digress. The sales lady showed me the disposables. I couldn't believe how small the box was in height, about half the height of the NUK box, and there were the same amount in the box. So I decided to give them a shot. Well sweet milk makers was I glad I did. Last night my son slept for an hour longer than usual and my milk machines leaked like usual, only my shirt stayed dry. So dry in fact that I didn't even notice that I had leaked and slept straight through the night too. I love that they are bigger than any of the other pads I've tried. I like that the back of them is water proof so nothing leaks through them, I mean if the milk goes right through to the other side what's the flipping point right?! And I like the shape. I don't know if it's the reason they don't wrinkle on my boobies but they don't and I can barely see them under my shirt. Also since the backing is water proof, it slides a little in my bra, so when my boobs move a little the pads stay over my nipples. I'm sold. I will most definitely be purchasing these again. And again. And again until my milk machines stop making milk.. I just wish two things, that I could get them in a bigger pack, maybe 120, and that they came in tan. Or at least tan backing so they were less noticeable under a white bra and white top, and so I could wear it under a sexy lace bra when it was naughty time with the hubby and I wouldn't have to worry about the glaring white pads showing through said sexy lace bra. Because let's face it ladies, when you are breastfeeding your babe's and if your milk machines are anything like mine, you can't go without a bra for sex or your hubby will be covered in little drops of milk. So I do what I can to at least wear a sexy bra if I have to wear one.

So slim under your bra. Unlike the other ones I've tried, you can wear a t-shirt or knit top and not see the outlines through your shirt. Absorbs milk very very well.
