I don't have any particular gift for music, so I can't comment on the technical quality of this CD. However, I can say that I truly enjoyed listening it. There is a consist feel across the songs that is enjoyable, encouraging, and peaceful. The themes of grace, miracles, and love weave in and out of Randy's music and he delivers them with both confidence and humility...a quality that I find missing from too many Christian artists.

Just getting into the Christian music scene and stumbled upon this up and coming artist. Wasn't too sure about this genre, but this CD pulled me in.

ALL of the tracks on this CD are great, my personal favorites are #1, #2, #3, #6, & #8.

Randy Akl should be called one of Christian music's most up and coming celebrated artists. Randy has hit gold with his 1st release, Simply Believe. Simply Believe's title track mixes the relaxing sound of an acoustic guitar and a kettledrum with the strength of Randy's voice to create a wonderful majestic and energized soundscape. Track three, The Story Of Love plays on the same style, but Randy's voice is bolstered with a powerful Choir that brings out the emotion in his thoughtful lyrics. Track 5, Twelve Men is balanced by a sensitive melody, a catchy chorus, and Randy's passion for God and song. All of the songs on this disc are lushly endowed with stringed instruments and emotive textures that add passion to the disc. The surprises within this endeavor are Akl's praise songs `There For You and It's Called Amazing," and the gospel-influenced "White As Snow," where Akl makes his strongest vocal appearance. Simply Believe is a powerful debut album full of energy, excitement, and thoughtful sound. But more than that, this album is full of the promise of a great new talent.

I am so amazed at how much I love Randy Akl's cd "simply believe". The more I listen to the music and the rich message in each song
the more I realize that this artist should be promoted all around the world to peolpe who are in need of inspiration, encouragement, conviction, love, grace, joy, peace and forgiveness. His message in each song is timeless and is for the person who believes in the Lord Jesus Christ, as well as those who are just searching for
music that will feed the heart and soul. With all the terrible news facing our country and the world, Randy Akl gives us a breath of fresh air to ease some of the pain. I hope and pray that many will purchase his great music and I hope Randy continues to bless and encourage us with his wonderful music with a message. We need great music like this in these terrible times so tell a friend and share with your friends.

I was completely stunned at the amazing music and lyrics on this cd. The words were such a huge blessing to me. I highly recommend this cd to Christians and non Christians alike. I will be watching for this artist in the future and will buy his first cd FOR SURE!!!

Sorry to disagree with the cheerleaders, but this is pretty light. If you like advertising jingles, this may be your speed. If you are looking for depth, this album is lacking. The vocals and instrumentation are so-so at best.

Randy's follow up CD to "Access To Grace", is another hit. The CD is delightful, touching and uplifting. The songs lyrics are easy to listen to.They draw the listener to realize and reflect on how much the Lord loves them. Into todays world that is the message that is needed to be heard and so often missed. I encourage Christians and Non-Christians a like to listen to this CD and add it to their music library.

That's right. This rates the bottom of your foot, unless you can rate it lower. My advice: listen before you buy this one.
