This book is very much to the point! Ron displays a true talent
for making the subject matter interesting and exciting.He shows
how to make cooking and baking an easy step by step success,and
the recipes are very good with some being quite unique.I am in the restuarant business,so I'm always looking for the extra edge with palate and eye appealing recipes.

I've had this cookbook for about 17 years. I recall someone stopping by a place where I worked and they were selling it. At the time, I was not much of a cook and still learning how to live on my own and cook for myself, so I picked through things here and there. Since then, I cook regularly and am always looking for something that will become part of our family favorites. This cookbook has provided us with several recipes that we all enjoy and despite all of the other cookbooks I have, I still come back to this one regularly. The Italian meatballs and the pork chops with mushroom sauce are two of our top favorites.

Everything in this book is exactly as the title describes - simple and delicious. It has the best vodka sauce recipe I've ever had.

I love to cook and own many recipe books. I have to say that this is one of the best I have ever seen. It is full of mouth watering photos, tons of recipes, very well organized and easy to use.
This is a quality book (heavy too!). A must for people who love to cook. ENJOY NOW!

Great receipies, and easy to follow directions. Chef K mixes different ingridents and spices as only he knows how. The flavor of each receipe is Simply Delicious. a must have for the serious cook.

This book is so basic, dated and not appealing to me in the least. It was painfully reminiscent of recipes, presentations & photos found in cookbooks of the 70's. Almost nothing in this book inspired me to try any of the recipes.

A complete disappointment for me since one of my most treasured cookbooks is "Simply Delicious", 1994 editiion by Ron Kalenuik where I want to try just about every recipe in the book. I have made many of the recipes which always seem to wow my guests. It really was difficult for me to realize this cookbook was by the same author & chef. However seeing Ron Kalenuik's evolution to attaining the greatness of his later cookbook was very inspiring to me.

Possibly if one is a beginner cook, this might be the book for you.

Had this book before and it was removed from my property, just had to have it back. I have made many dishes from this book all with great success. I had to get this used and it came as in perfect condition. If you want an excellent cookbook and dishes to impress, this is for you...

I had this cookbook but it got wet and did not dry out well.

I liked it so much that I needed to replace it.

Also it was orginally a gift from my best friend and I could not bare to be
without it.
