The founders of Ruby Tuesday have created this book of recipes that are based on some of their most popular dishes. The recipes include; drinks, appetizers and side dishes, brunch, salads and soups, pasta, seafood, beef, pork and poultry and desserts.
There is a short introduction before each section giving information such as food and wine pairings and giving ideas of what to serve with the dishes and the page numbers. Inserts are included among the recipes with tips such as; how to follow a recipe, making hollandaise and tips for backyard barbeques. Most recipes have pictures of the finished dishes, an index included.

The food is not that out of the ordinary, but they are good basic tasty dishes. We have enjoyed spinach, mushroom, feta cheese omelet, avocado and shrimp salad with creole seasoning and avocado ranch dressing, ham and pea salad with fresh dill ranch dressing (friends have even asked for this recipe), scallops with shallots, parsley and white wine sauce and Italian cream cake.
The only exception has been their version of crab cakes, in which the crab is absolutely overpowered by 3 tablespoons of cilantro and chutney.
These are not difficult recipes to prepare or ones with exotic ingredients, but they do turn out good food.

This cookbook is wonderful!! It has great refreshing recipes that are easy to prepare. The strawberry lemonade from the drink section is perfect for any occasion. The appetizer section is filled with wonderful recipes from the pico de gallo to the chicken wings three ways. The brunch menu is filled with exceptional recipes from French toast to crepes. Each section starts with an index of recipes and the index is comprehensive and easy to follow. If you look for a recipe using parmesean cheese you will see a list of recipes that have parmesean cheese as an ingredient. This entire cookbook is a useful too and I recommend it for anyone, beginner or expert!

This cookbook is inspired by the menu of Ruby Tuesday restaurants, featuring more than 100 casual dining recipes for brunch, lunch, dinner and desserts, as well as beverages. Filled with beautiful full-color photographs, the book helps the reader prepare restaurant quality meals at home, including Ruby Tuesday's signature burgers and famous Mac and Cheese. Tips on how to successfully host gatherings of friends and family and suggestions for pairing wine with food are also included, as well as a section of food basics such as making whipping cream, roasting peppers, making chicken stock, etc.

Chapters include drinks, appetizers and side dishes, brunch, salads and soups, pasta, seafood; beef, pork, and poultry; and desserts. I made the White Bean Chicken Chili that turned out well so it will show up on my menu again. I also made a version of the Roasted Brussels Sprouts with Bacon that I really liked (no one else in my family will eat brussels sprouts so I enjoyed them all by myself!).

There are several other recipes I want to try such as Fettuccine with Roasted Red Pepper Sauce and Italian Sausage, Avocado Turkey Burger, Buttermilk Fried Chicken with Mushroom Gravy, and an Italian Cream Cake that actually seems simple to make. The recipes aren't complicated and use ingredients that can be found in local supermarkets.

This is a collection of recipes I think cooks of any level of expertise will enjoy and it would be a great Christmas gift for any "foodie" friends and family members.

Simply Fresh has over one hundred recipes inspired from Ruby Tueday's . Drinks, appetizers and side dishes, bruch!!! Salads and pasta, seafood, beef, pork and poultry and Desserts! (lemmon zabaglione, cheese cake and angel food cake are my favorites)

There are several chef's tips, some of them with step by step photographs, which are alwasy so useful. The photography is just great. You will enjoy this book and keep it at hand to plan your menu.

I actually received my copy the other year during a Ruby Tuesday Mother's Day promotion. I as well as my daughter enjoy the recipes for some of their more popular food and drinks that we enjoy. This copy was actually purchased for my daughter to to have at her new home.

I enjoyed this cook book, lots of new ideas and simple products that I never thought about combining. Sometimes it's the easiest things that turn out to be the best.
