The power of great vocals, inspired lyrics and a real Holy Ghost anointing are present in Neville's praise offerings. In today's perverted gospel genre with singers who are jumping on whatever the latest trends are popular in the secular music world, Neville is like a breath of fresh air. If you are looking for music that will put you into a worshiping atmosphere, either of Neville's disc will do- from start to finish. I have worn out my copies of his discs and I can't put into words how much my family and I enjoy his music, except "When are you coming out with your next CD" God bless you Neville.

These are the old time hymns revived and rejuvenated to lift your spirit. They are hymns but they are sung from a vibrant soul on fire for Christ, with gusto, assurance, and confidence in the lyrics. This believing artist uses his gift in earnest. When he sings 'Great is Thy Faithfulness' you believe it, or when he offers up 'Holy, Holy, Holy' you know that he knows of who he speaks. This is a winner in the same spirit of his previous CD, 'Messages from the Throne of Grace.' A win-win.

I ran across this DVD while looking for Hymns to share with our Music Department. And what did I find? A treasure of forgotten Hymns. Discovering Neville Peter was almost like finding the Ark of the Covenant. Finally, here was someone who simply with his voice (which we seem to have forgotten is an instrument) accompanied only by piano sang with meaning, depth and power the great hymns of the Church. Mr. Peter's voice has an eloquence that is not seen today in much of Gospel music, where the focus is less toward God than the audience or one's own self struggles. Moreover, many of todays choirs can not be heard due to an inability to direct and orchestrate the place of voice and multiple musical instruments. Thus the choirs main purpose that of the leading the congregation in praise is lost because the congregation can not hear what the choir is saying as its songs are drowned out by uncertain sounds. However, central to authentic worship is that what we sing is about Him, to Him and for Him. God is the subject and the object of praise. Neville Peter captures magnificently the forgotten spirit of the great hymns of the Church, with a voice that soars: that declares God's Faithfulness, bows with seraphims on Holy, Holy, Holy, and walks with the Savior on What a Friend we have in Jesus. For the soul that's hungry for authentic worship this is it, no bright lights, or sequined gowns, just a walk up the steps with the ancients. "Lift up your heads O ye Gates and even be lift up ye everlasting doors and the King of Glory Shall Come In. Soli Deo Gloria!

They that Worship Him shall Worship Him in Spirit and in Truth. Brother Peter's music is certainly a blessing to the body of Christ. Buy His Music and enter a Special Place of Praise. I have all of his CDs and have started buying CDs for my family and friends. May God continue to bless and keep him. May He continue to give Neville new songs, hymns and spiritual psalms to encourage believers and help us all to keep the faith until the "expected end" and return of our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. I Love this CD, play it every day and even purchased a few of the karaoke tracks which I'm currently practicing and will be singing at Church soon.
