the amazing bag book
This book is the most creative and stylish handbag book I have come across. I really enjoy the easy to sew instructions and full page color pictures. I originally found it at the library. I liked it so much I researched on Amazon.com and now I own it. Thanks Amazon!!

OK, but not great.
While the photography is fine, the finished bags in the book look home-made. When I make my bags/totes/purses I want them to look professionally made - store bought. There are a couple of newer ideas (not seen in every other bag book) but there are no finished measurements for any of the bags and some of the hardware would be difficult to find. Maybe because it was...

While the photography is fine, the finished bags in the book look home-made. When I make my bags/totes/purses I want them to look professionally made - store bought. There are a couple of newer ideas (not seen in every other bag book) but there are no finished measurements for any of the bags and some of the hardware would be difficult to find. Maybe because it was originally published in the U.K., perhaps? The beginning of the book has an illustrated how-to guide on construction which would be beneficial to new sewers.
