This was a great idea for a Simpsons calendar. Instead of rehashing scenes from the show, you get new scenes that parody classic movies (ie Return of the Jedi, Aliens, The Graduate). As usual, the Simpson crew did a great job with the art & the concepts. There is even a great centerfold piece included!

As a calendar, each day is loaded with birthdays of celebrities and such, which makes for great reading & conversation. Perhaps some would rather have the room for writing their own appointments & special dates in, but I think enough room was left, and the addition of these famous birthdays makes it unique. Definitely worth buying!

Using bright ink colors, and providing fans spoofs of some of the most famous films ever made, "The Simpsons 2002 Fun Calendar" by Matt Groening is a great way to start a new year, especially if you're a Simpsons fan.

Just like with previous Simpsons wall calendars, the pages of the calendar are printed on top-notch paper using the finest inks that gives each page a glossy, eye-cathching look. With a different theme each year (2001 gave us scenes from some memorable episodes; also an additional month, "Smarch" which is a month created in our of the hilarious Halloween episodes from recent years was added as an inside joke) the 2002 edition is a series of spoofs of some of the most memorable films from cinema history, including "Return of the Jedi" and "Citizen Kane."

As the only calendar I want hanging on my wall, "The Simpsons 2002 Fun Calendar" is a must for any die-hard Simpsons fan!

This Simpsons calendar is a great gift for any diehard Simpsons fan! It includes pictures from various seasons of the show, and includes a variety of religous holidays and events. This is a great value calendar, and I strongly suggest for any Simpson fan to get it! IT'S WORTH IT!
