Classic games... some get em, others don't
Classic Simpsons, Classic Gameplay. If you like the good old days of video games you can't go wrong with this Simpson's title, it is a must have for any fan.

I love the Simpsons. I've supported the show since Season 2 (but not Season 1, since my mom heard bad things about the show and wouldn't let me watch it until the second season). The Simpsons are great.......but not in fairy tale form. The gameplay is very slow and gets old fast. The tunes are catchy, but the story lacks the quality of the show. Overall its a game that no one should purchase.

I love the Simpsons. I've supported the show since Season 2 (but not Season 1, since my mom heard bad things about the show and wouldn't let me watch it until the second season). This Fall will mark 18 years on the air, and that's impressive.
Back in the mid 90's when the Simpsons was at its best (both in writing and popularity) a flood of awful Simpsons games hit all the Nintendo and Sega game systems. One of those was Bart and the Beanstalk. This is a pretty bad game. The black and white Game Boy graphics don't help things either. You are better off not knowing about it (unfortunately you DO know about it, or else you wouldn't be reading this review). I can't believe a game this bad even exists. I guess I'm being a bit too cruel when I say the game is BAD. It's just that, the show rules so much, and the Simpson video games always suck. And it's just not right. Avoid. Oh, and please tell me I'm seeing things. If this game is actually going for 80 bucks right now I will climb the beanstalk myself just to jump off.

This game is terrible. Besides, it's old.
Who would want to play a game that already expired by now??!! I can't believe ANYONE would try to sell this trash! Its from 1992, people! This game probably wouldn't even work on your gameboy's, its so old! I can't belive you reviewers are selling this! You sold your brain! That's why it isn't working any more! I don't mean to offend you, but this game is like staring at a wall for 8 hours! |
