Well, Playmates and Toys R Us have done it again. Fans have clamored for it, and finally we get to reap the benefits of our begging and pleading...the exclusive Treehouse of Horror IV set, featuring The Collector's Lair, including Collector Comic Book Guy, Bart as Stretch Dude, Lisa as Clobber Girl, and Xen- - I mean...Lucy Lawless. The set is incredible! It features a few things that that we've never seen...or seldom seen. For starters, this is the first 2 story playset. Also, this is the set includes only the second celebrity figure as themself. And Lucy Lawless was a great choice for said figure! The sculpting is superb all around, and this set is a collector's dream, guarenteed! Don't miss your chance to own a piece of Simpsons History!

It was well worth the wait, having to arrange for a friend in the States to post it on to me.
It is well built, with lots of great detail, and the 4 figures have been taken straight from the TV, and made real. The phrases chosen for each character sum up the episode beautifully, and I still laugh to myself each time I play them.
Overall, a really fun toy for children and adults who refuse to grow old gracefully.

Okay, I know...it's a sickness. But, to paraphrase Doughnut Head Homer, "They're so sweet and tasty!" Yes, the Collector's Lair Simpsons environment arrived today from Amazon and did not disappoint. For the Simpsons geek in need of a 12 step, this will push you off the wagon. The figures are hysterical and as "lifelike" as cartoon characters can be in 3D. And the spoken lines are pitch perfect/laugh provoking reminders of how funny this episode was. Many kudos to Playmates for the two-story design (if only a quibble that no fourth peg is on the second story for the fourth figure). If you buy only one Simpsons set this year, make it this one. If you, like many of us, buy virtually anything Simpsons Playmates makes, this will take the central position on your groaning (ha! ha! a pun on the series' creator's name!) bookshelf. Behold! The Collector's Lair is the best environment...Ever!
