For the price, you cannot beat the quality of this book. First off, the hard cover is a very nice size, not the usual comic or trade paperback size, but an inch or two bigger on both sides. The color artwork jumps from the pages and is very clean and crisp. The stories themselves are good and very lengthy, it seemed, compared to the usual single comic issues, with a lot of relevant plot material. The slip cover is very nicely done and the book binding seems to be sound.

When I read that the publishers were going to include a reprint of the very first Simpson's Comic, I assumed it would be bound with the rest of the hardback. To my delight, it is actually seperate, placed in a sleeve on the inside of the back cover. The cover to the reprint seems to be a bit thicker than the original #1, due perhaps for longer durability. Inside a out, a fine reprint indeed.

Finally this collection is available to everyone. It's about time. This is a great collection and I just love it more every time I read it. The slipcase Hardcover is really cool looking too. For the price how can you not grab it. A must own for Futuarama and Simpsons fans. Plus there is a nice little extra included that I won't ruin for you. Well worth the price and I am glad to have this in my collection.

I am not a huge fan of Simpsons (still big one), but I love the Futurama. This book must be in every fan's collection. The story is really great and full of jokes we all love (unlike Futurama comics), and the book has some really cool arts at the end, referring to book itself and some movies.

I'm not a fan of comics but I must say that when I saw this hardcover comic, I needed to buy it. Is the mix of two of my favorites cartoons, Futurama and The Simpsons, in a very interesting story that you must read. This comic holds in a single book the 4 comics: "Somewhere Over the Brain-bow!", "Liquid Diamond Is Forever!", "Slaves of New New York!" and "The Read Menace!".

The hardcover is neat, very well done and of great quality, the pages are also very colorful and with a high quality paper. You'll also get a re-issue of The Simpsons Comic #1 as a separate item in a sleeve inside the backcover of the comic.

Some other extras are many full page illustrations of mixes between Futurama and The Simpsons that you can't miss. Yet another extra is a behind the scenes of how they create this and all the comics at Bongo Comics.

Is really a collectors item, I truly recommend it.

If anyone reads the futurama graphic novels; you'll see they are just as good as the animated show. This one is full of super-hero in jokes and comic book references only a true comic fan would understand. However dispite the price of the hardcover it's well worth it. It stands up to repeatd readings and the Simpson's #1 reproduction in the back cover makes it all the more better. I have to wonder why there hasn't been a large effort to produce this as a made to DVD release. If this story was adapted for a movie, it would sell millions!

This is the greatest comic I've ever read! I love Futurama and the Simpsons, and seeing them both combined in a comic book was amazing! I also like the very first Simpson comic in the back of the book.

The Simpsons is one of the best shows ever created and Futurama is somehow better than Simpsons! How can that be?!? I don't know and quite frankly I don't care because both franchises are here together in one hilarious book. This story arc follows the Brain Balls and the havoc they wreak on the Planet Express crew when they yet again bring the characters of books to life. Luckily for us, and unfortunately for Fry, his Simpsons comic books spring to life and mayhem ensues.

If you are a Simpsons or Futurama fan or a fan of both, this book is a MUST-BUY! I loved this exploration of the cross-over of these two groening universes. The work is witty and the art is amazingly intricate and colorful. Plus, you get a first comic book collector's edition in the back of the book as well!! This is amazing! I wish there were more crossover books!

The production on this book is top notch, the slipcase is a nice touch. The actual Simpsons/Futurama crossover was hilarious, it was cool to see the different characters interacting. There are a ridiculous amount of extras as well, preparatory material and a really sweet reprint of the first issue of the Simpsons comic.
